Clyde Water Treatment Plant building

Naylor Love were approached in late 2021 to work alongside Fulton Hogan and the Central Otago District Council for the design and build of a building for a new water treatment facility for Clyde, sited above the Clyde Dam.

Our in-house Structural Engineers and Architect undertook the design, working to tight deadlines to ensure that the project could be completed before the summer influx of holidaymakers in the region. They ensured that the design fulfilled the client’s requirement for the internal plant, equipment, chemicals, staffing and long term maintenance.

Everything went according to plan, with smart design allowing the technical installations and commissioning period to be reduced. This project highlights how our design team can reduce build time and costs by incorporating design detailing and materials to ensure maximum efficiency.
